It’s the first Monday in May, which means that tonight *would* have been the Met Gala 2020. The event, which is put on every year by the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute to raise money for the upcoming year, is arguably the event of the year as far as fashion is concerned. But even though it’s not actually happening tonight thanks to COVID-19, that doesn’t mean people aren’t talking and thinking about it.
