Ahh, Fantasy Suite week. The week where, if a contestant has been waffling about uttering any iteration of “love” or “falling in love,” they’d better start. I didn’t think it was possible to simultaneously put too much and not enough emphasis on the L-word, but this show manages to do just that season after season. “Love” is all-important in the Bachelor sphere. If you don’t say it in the right way and at the right time, your departure can and will be attributed to that, à la Ben (and so many fallen suitors before him).
