Zara’s Owner Will Manufacture Hospital Gowns and Masks

While many of us are doing our part in stopping the spread of COVID-19 by staying home or working essential jobs, major fashion companies are thankfully being supportive as well. Earlier this week, luxury conglomerate LVMH, which owns Louis Vuitton, Dior, Givenchy, and others, announced that its perfume and cosmetics factories will be producing hand sanitizer to distribute to French health authorities. Now, Zara’s parent company, Inditex, has announced its own contribution to the cause. 

As Vogue reports, Spanish company Inditex has committed to donating masks for health workers and COVID-19 patients in Spain. The company has already donated 10,000 masks and hopes to donate another 300,000.
